The Hawks outscored the Vikings 27–8 over the final two games and showcased depth at the plate and consistency on the mound throughout the series.
Cosumnes River opened the series on April 22 with a 6–2 victory at home, using timely hitting and strong pitching to set the tone. The Hawks broke through in the third inning on a sacrifice fly from Aaron Del Real, and never relinquished control after reclaiming the lead in the fifth. A three-run eighth inning provided insurance, highlighted by an RBI double from Alan Quirarte-Guzman and run-scoring contributions from Del Real and Tyler Cody.
