Softball Beats Delta 4-2

Hawks are finally able to finish game 2 of our doubleheader vs Delta that started way back on March 3^rd.

Finally, the game continues picking up in the 2^nd inning with Cecilia Rivera leading off with a 2-0 count. Cecilia Rivera gets things going with a double.  With Cecilia Rivera on 3^rd Cassandra Thomas grounds out to short scoring Cecilia Rivera.

The score remains CRC 1 Delta 0 till the bottom of the 4^th inning when Delta scores two runs.

Looking to regain the lead Amber Wright singles and scores on an Ashlee Kaiser double. With Ashlee Kaiser on 2^nd Veronica Smith singles to center scoring Ashlee Kaiser.  Hawks regain a 3-2 lead.

Once again the Hawks are able to push a run across when Amber Wright singles, Korina Krueg singles, and Amber Wright is driven in on a Taelor Ford single. Hawks lead 4-2

In the bottom of the 7^th Delta puts pressure on the Hawks defense but the Hawks are able to close out the game.

Gabrielle Montaie pitched 7 innings giving up 7 hits, 1 walk, striking out 2 and giving up 2 runs.
