Non-Traditional Season (NTS) Athletic Student Responsibilities & Expectations

Team *
1. I understand that I must be enrolled in a physical education activity/conditioning class associated with my particular sport at the college that I am competing with. *
2. I understand that I can only compete at one CCC (California Community College) during the ?Non-traditional? season. *
3. I understand that I must have a current medical physical on file with the trainer at the institution I?m competing for. At CRC is it through the ?ATS? system and the file must be complete. *
4. I understand that as a California community college student in a team sport, I may not compete or practice with any other outside team in my sport during the ?NTS? window in my sport. *
5. I understand that participation in NTS or scrimmages may affect eligibility, transfer or seasons of competition at the NCAA Division I and II levels provided I participate in more than 2 such scrimmages in an academic year. *
6. I understand that any participation in NTS or a scrimmage may trigger NCAA ?Progress Towards Degree? even as; a part-time student, red shirt, or grey shirt and for NCAA Division 1 and Division 2, it would count as a full time term (start your clock), and would trigger 2-4 transfer rules *
I understand if I have questions regarding the impact of playing NTS contests and/or scrimmages to contact the Athletic Counselor or Athletic Director prior to participation. *

As a student on a Cosumnes River College NTS team, there are certain responsibilities and regulations that must be met prior to you competing in a NTS scrimmage or event.
