Hawks Push No. 24 Cabrillo to the Limit in Five-Set Playoff Thriller

Cosumnes River College delivered a fearless postseason performance on the road, taking No. 24 Cabrillo to five sets before narrowly falling 3–2. The Hawks showed poise and resilience all night in a match that swung back and forth until the final points.

Jadyn Hoffman led the Hawks with 19 kills and a strong all-around effort, while Paityn Snow and Davina Amen combined for 25 kills and constant pressure at the net. Ella Cline anchored the offense with 50 assists, orchestrating a balanced attack that kept Cabrillo guessing, and Olivia Egberuare posted an efficient night with eight kills on a .727 hitting percentage.

Defensively, Cosumnes River was relentless, piling up 123 digs behind Emmerson Patterson's 31 and strong back-row play across the lineup.
