Sacramento, CA - In the first conference game of the season, the Hawks showed their youth as they fell to Delta (13-25, 13-25, 18-25). The offensive attack for the Hawks was carried by their middles, Miah Williamson (12 kills, .556 hit %) and Maram Mahfouz (7 kills, .364 hit %). Aija Redding posted 6 kills swinging on 20 attempts, as the rest of the Hawk offense struggled to find consitency. Grace Maddock posted a double-double with 14 assists and 13 digs. Giovanna Parino also added 15 assists of her own. Victoria Espinoza picked up another double-digit game with 15 digs to lead the Hawks.
