Personal: Tierra’s family includes mom Michelle, sister Tiffany, and brother Tyreke.  Tierra started playing volleyball when she was 14 because it always looked fun when she saw her relatives playing.  Tierra is a Psychology major and aspires to become a Psychiatrist.  In her spare time she enjoys singing, eating, dancing, painting, doodling and camping.

Athletic Highlights:  All Conference 1^st team her sophomore & senior year of high school; 3-year varsity player; Co-MVP senior year; Most Improved freshman year.

Person who most influenced your athletic career:  My high school coach, Aaron Pollock

Person you most admire:  My Mom because she shows me what real dedication looks like when you are passionate about something and she taught me to stay humble.  

Person you would most like to meet:  Beyonce because she is so inspiring yet there is so much she keeps private about herself and I feel I can relate to her.

Best advice ever received:  Treat others the way you want to be treated.

Quote that inspires her: “It isn’t about how hard you hit.  It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.”

Best thing about being a Hawk:  Priority registration.
