Softball scores 20 runs against Folsom

Game 1- Folsom 2 CRC 10

The Hawks jump on top in the 1^st inning on an Ashlee Kaiser single to center scoring Korina Krueg.

After a 1-2-3 2^nd inning for Gabrielle Montaie the Hawks load the bases on a single from Hannah Flynn, a single from Saenn Powell and an intentional walk for Amber Wright. Korina Krueg then doubles and clearing the bases. The Hawks now lead 4-0.

 In the bottom of the 3^rd Cassandra Thomas singles scoring Kylee Boykin. With the bases loaded Amber Wright doubles driving in Cecilia Rivera, Hannah Flynn and Cassandra Thomas. Hawks Leading 8-0

After another 1-2-3 inning for Montaie Veronica Smith homers to left field. Following up Kylee Boykin doubles, and is driven in on a Cecilia Rivera single. 10-0

In the top of the 5^th the Hawks look to close out but Folsom makes things interesting by scoring two runs. With runners on 2^nd and 3^rd Montaie gets a ground ball to 2^nd to end the game.

Game 2 Folsom 3 CRC 10

Game 2 started out in the favor for the Falcons, in the first inning with 2 runners on Rosen homers giving them the 3-0 lead.

Looking to make a comeback Amber Wright singles, and advances to third on a Korina Krueg sac bunt. A sacrifice fly from Ashlee Kaiser scores Wright.  Folsom still leading 3-1

Bottom of the 2^nd inning Cecilia Rivera singles and advances to 2^nd on a passed ball. She is then driven in on a single off the bat of Saenn  Powell. Cassandra Thomas walks and with runners on 1^st and 2^nd Amber Wright singles driving in Saenn Powell. Following it up Korina Krueg singles scoring Cassandra Thomas.

In the bottom of the 4^th Amber Wright singles, Korina Krueg doubles and Ashlee Kaiser hits another sac fly scoring Amber Wright and advances Korina Krueg to 3^rd.  Looking to add another run Veronica Smith singles scoring Korina Krueg.

Cecilia Rivera singles, Hannah Flynn gets on from an error and Saenn Powell singles to center. Cassandra Thomas and Amber Wright ground out pushing across 2 more runs for the Hawks. With a runner on 3^rd Korina Krueg singles scoring 1 more for the Hawks. CRC 9 Folsom 3

Veronica Smith doubles, and is driven in on a Kylee Boykin single in the 6^th inning.

Once again in the 7^th inning Folsom fights to make a come back in the game getting 2 runners on but the Hawks close out the game on a ground ball to Veronica Smith at 2^nd.

Ashleigh Berg started the game for the Hawks going 3.2 innings giving up 4 hits, walking 1, striking out 0 and giving up 3 earned runs.

Gabrielle Montaie pitched 3.1 innings giving up 3 hits, walking 1, striking out 1 and giving up 0 runs.
