Hawks Men's Tennis Team Downs Shasta!
Hawks dominate Knights in match rescheduled due to weather.
The Hawks Men's Tennis team kicked off their season in fine style by downing the Shasta Knights 7-2 on Friday the 5th. Sean Mar, Stephen Albert, Niko Lacerna, Abiel Lazcandon were all straight set match winners with Joshua Frazier being to only Hawk netter to be pushed to three sets in his victory as he defeated Jonnie Goregano 4-6, 7-5, and 6-2. The only Shasta singles winner was Alexis Lira who defeated Yashneel Krishna 2-6, 6-4, and 6-4.
Lira and Parker Anderson in doubles for Shasta's only other victory on the day as they defeated Krishna and Mar 8-5. The Hawks Albert and Lazcandon defeated Jamie Moreno and Ricky Castro by an 8-2 score, while Quinn Dobbins and Frazier ddowned Kent Tanizawa and Savannah Lewis by the same 8-2 score.
Next up for the Hawks is the Modesto Tournament on the 12th of this month for you tennis fans.
