In their second matchup of the season the Hawks hosted Modesto Junior College. The Hawks come ready to bounce back after a tough home loss last Friday night. The Hawks put on a defensive clinic in the first half holding the pirates to only twenty first half points.
The half went into half-time with a 36-20 leading after twenty minutes of action. Ja'Rod Webb had a game high 19 points, followed by freshmen forward Jordan Buricaga who chipped in 15 points of his own. It was the stellar play of Dillon Iyawe we added 13-points and snatched a game high 23 rebounds.
The Pirates were led by Jacob Staton & Carlos Hernandez each added 11 points. CRC walks away with the victory, with a final score of 54-72.
