Dillon Iyawe has been a force to be reckoned with all season. California's leading rebounder (16 RPG.) did not disappoint Friday night at Modesto Junior College. The big man in the middle-provided opportunity after opportunity for the Hawks by grabbing 17 rebounds.
The Hawks lead at the break 34-27. The Pirates were led by Jacob Staton who lit up the scoreboard for 30 points on 12 of 18 shooting. The Hawks were led by Iyawe with 17 points on 7 of 9 from the field. Sophomore guard Andre Huddleston added 14 points, followed by freshman guard Ja'Rod Webb' 13 points.
