Modesto, CA - The Hawks offense was unable to find their footing on the road against the Modesto Junior College Pirates. Maddy Motta paced the Hawks with 7 kills on the match. The defense tried to hold stong with Victoria Espinoza (15 digs) and Kenzie Nies (10 digs) both tallying double digits. CRC was able to total 6 blocks, with 2 being solo and 4 being assisted blocks. The Hawks were able to limit the Pirates to a .188 hitting percentage, and only allow 43 digs as opposed to the 49 of CRC. Errors kept the offense from clicking with 14 hitting errors and 9 service errors.
