SACRAMENTO (3-4) – The Hawks took on Sacramento City College in the final game of their Big 8 Conference series at Conway Field. The Panthers defeated the Hawks 11-5.
Ethan Torres was the starting pitcher for the Hawks and pitched three innings. Owen Hunt, Joey Pankratz, Jorge Garcia and Brenden Murray all threw in relief for the Hawks.
Ryan Barry, Dean Lucas and Griffin Selby had two hits apiece on the day. Mark Aubrey had two RBIs, Greg Creamer and Brett Graber had an RBI apiece. Burle Dixon had two stolen bases on the day.
Colby Harrison of the Panthers was the winning pitcher while Joey Pankratz was the losing pitcher. Ettman Noriega earned the save.
The next game for the Hawks will be Tuesday as they start a Big 8 Conference series against Folsom Lake College at Conway Field. First pitch is set for 2 pm.
