Hawks top SRJC 2-1!

With Santa Rosa out shooting the Hawks in the first half, the Hawks were in a good place with no score in the game.

It took until the 66th minute for the first score as the Hawks tallied on a goal by Ariel Klink, her fifth over all and first in Big 8 play. The assist went to Taylor Gomez her first of the year. 

Afte Santa Rosa tied the game in the 82nd minute the Hawks came back with the winner in the 86th minute and again it was Klink with her sixth goal on the year this time an unassisted goal.

For the game the Lady Bear Cubs out shot the Hawks by a 10-8 margin as CRC goalie  Elizabeth Kowalczyk came up huge with 8 saves on the day. Kowalczyk now has a goals against average of 1.87 on the year with a .711 save percentage.

The Hawks are now 3-4-2 n the year with a 1-2-0 record in Big 8 Conference play with a road game next up against Sierra on Friday at 4:30pm.
