Lopsided scores in day one games at 2016 James Clark Classic.

Lopsided scores in day one games at 2016 James Clark Classic.

On Thursday's game #1 the Las Positas Hawks took care of the Napa Valley Storm with a 75-53 victory.

In game #2 Feather River College ran away and hid from the Chabot Gladiators in their 101-62 pounding of Chabot. Just imagine if the Golden Eagles had sophomore Derrick Randolph, last years state points and average per game leader back from an injury he suffered.

In game #3 our Cosumnes River Hawks jumped out to an early lead over the Siskiyous Eagles and never looked back on the way to their 90-54 win.

In game #4, the day one nightcap, Sacramento City College beat Merced in the closest game of the day as they defeated the Blue Devils 90-76.

Today's action will begin at 1 pm with Chabot (2-5) facing off against Merced (4-3) in the opener of day two.

Game #2 today will feature College of the Siskiyous (2-7) against Napa Valley (0-5) who will square off at 3 pm.

Game #3 might well be the highlight for non-CRC fans as Feather River (6-1) will take on Sacramento City (5-2) at 5 pm.

The day two nightcap will be a battle of the Hawks as Las Positas (8-1), a top five team in the state, coached by former CRC Head Coach James Giacomazzi will tip off against the CRC Hawks (4-3) at 7 pm.

All times are of course tentative due to the possibilty of overtime in any game.
